Shooter Gear and Club Drinkware will help your bar stand out from the rest. Nerd culture has become a popular theme in most shows, brands, and social media, so it makes sense to add a bit of scientific aesthetic to your bar. But what kind of drinks should you serve in these unique shooters?

Test Tube Drinks You Should Try

  • Rainbow Shots
  • This drink depends on the density of each ingredient: Grenadine, Sweet and Sour, Orange Juice, Vodka, and Blue Curacao. Add ice into your glass and pour the drinks slowly in the order that it was listed. You can use a bar spoon for a controlled pour.

It’s important to note that Blue Curacao will sink immediately, so once you pour it on top of your mix, you have to work quickly. Cover the glass with a Hawthorne strainer and pour the drink onto the line of test tube shots.

  • Blood Shots
  • This is perfect for test tube shooters. You can make a shot resembling blood with the recipe. In a shaker, add ice, Coconut Rum, Fruit Punch, and Grenadine; shake the mixture and pour it ¾ way into the test tube. Slowly pour Black Vodka into the test tube to add texture.

  • Candy Shots
  • If the rainbow shots seem a little too complicated, you can always try to make candy shots. Crush your favorite colored candy like skittles, warhead, or other colorful candies and put them inside a mason jar or bottle.

Pour vodka into the container, and shake. Let the mixture sit overnight, and voila! You have candied flavored vodka. Keep the colors uniformed to maintain the vibrant shade.

  • Tropical Shots
  • Tropical-themed drinks are perfect for the summer heat. You can make a refreshing Melon Ball. In a shaker, add ice, vodka, melon liqueur, and Pineapple juice. Shake the mixture and pour it into the test tube.

For a refreshing shot, the lemon drop can wake you up with its sour flavor. Pour some ice, vodka, simple syrup, and freshly squeezed lemon juice, and shake the mixture. This will have a robust sour taste, so add syrup when needed.

  • Holiday Shots
  • If you are in a festive mood, the Blue Christmas shot will have you singing a merry tune. In a shaker, add ice, vodka, Blue Curacao, and a splash of Irish cream. Shake and pour the mixture into the test tube shooter. The blue color will give a sci-fi feel to the drink, and it’s perfect for the holidays.
