1. Ryan Reynolds - Aviation Gin
Ryan Reynolds has his fingers in a lot of pies, and one of them is Wrexham AFC, the football team he co-owns with Rob McElhenney from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which periodically works with Aviation Gin.
Reynolds invested in the brand in 2018, and Diageo purchased it in 2020 for up to $ 610 million. Reynolds' Instagram and Facebook accounts have a combined total of 376,000 followers.
2. Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston - Dos Hombres Mezcal
In July 2019, the stars of the TV show Breaking Bad announced the launch of their mezcal brand on social media, gaining 385,000 followers in the process. Constellation Brands recently paid an unknown sum for a minority investment in Dos Hombres.
Gregorio Velasco, a third-generation mezcal maker from San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, creates the beverage.
3. Kendall Jenner - 818 Tequila
Kendall Jenner, the reality star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, launched her 818 Tequila brand early this year, and it's causing quite a stir on social media.
The Tequila brand has a 722,000-strong following, and in October, it launched the 818 Bricks Program in collaboration with industry organization Sacred Agave. The project transforms post-production agave fibers into bricks that can be used to construct homes, schools, and other structures.
Jenner is fast-growing her brand and has lately launched a line of products, with proceeds going toward environmental initiatives.
4. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson - Teremana Tequila
The Rock has excelled in various fields, including wrestling, music, and movies. Now, he and his business partners Dany Garcia, Ken Austin, and Jenna Fagnan have successfully launched their Tequila brand.
Teremana Tequila said in February this year that it was boosting its manufacturing capacity, almost a year after its launch in 2020, as it aimed for a million-case sale. The debut of a branded tour bus, dubbed the Mana Mobile, and more marketing spending followed.
The firm debuted a Super Bowl commercial, pledged $1 million to the on-trade through its 'Guac on the Rock' campaign, and launched the 'Bring the Mana' line of merchandise, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and zip-up sweaters with the Teremana Tequila emblem. The brand's most recent move is to add a Teremana Aejo bottling to their Tequila lineup.
Teremana Tequila has 856,000 social media followers after two years of engagement.
5. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs - Cîroc Vodka
Sean 'Diddy' Combs, a rapper, was a pioneer in the spirits industry, forming a strategic partnership with Diageo in October 2007.
Combs Enterprises became the brand ambassador for ultra-premium vodka Cîroc as a result of the partnership.
The brand was selling over 2 million cases per year by 2014. Activities they did in 2022 include the release of a limited-edition white grape flavor, a $1 million donation to Combs' nine-hour online dance-a-thon, and the release of Cîroc Pomegranate earlier this year.
6. Bruno Mars - SelvaRey Rum
You may have heard of Bruno Mars' SelvaRey for the first time this week when the singer produced 9 cocktail ideas utilizing the tropical rum in conjunction with tracks from his and Anderson Paak's new album "Silk Sonic."
The California-based team Seth and Mark Gold launched the single-estate rum made in Panama in 2014, but Mars joined as a co-owner shortly afterward. Naturally, this was followed by a distinct creative vision for the brand (along with a slew of new flavors).
The white and chocolate rums are the line's most distinctive offerings, and they also received the highest ratings from the trade newspaper "The Tasting Panel.
7. Kate Hudson - King St. Vodka
Kate Hudson wanted to make a few dirty martinis for a cocktail party for friends, but she wasn't thrilled with her vodka alternatives. She decided to make her own after realizing that no vodka liquors were manufactured by women.
In Santa Barbara, California, King St. Vodka is gluten-free, non-GMO, created with alkaline water, distilled seven times, and then filtered for purity. Hudson's former house on King Street in New York City inspired the name.
8. Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo - Calirosa Tequila
Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo and Maroon 5 vocalist Adam Levine are more than just models. They're also big tequila drinkers who have converted their passion into the Calirosa—their "third kid."
The pink-tinged tequila is created in Mexico and matured in California wine barrels for a unique distilling technique that produces fruity overtones (the ordinary tequila is aged in whiskey or bourbon barrels).
9. Cara & Poppy Delevingne - Della Vite Prosecco
Della Vite was founded by Cara and Poppy in the United Kingdom, but the duo's first sustainably-produced prosecco made its way to the United States in September of 2021.
One of the first inspirations for the blend was the sisters' love for Italy. It comes in 2 different expressions: Superiore DOCG and Treviso DOC, which pays respect to the traditional wine-making method in Italy.
10. Nick Jonas - Villa One Tequila
If a trip to Mexico makes you want to drink more tequila, you're not the only one. Nick Jonas and fashion designer John Varvatos, co-founders of Villa One Tequila, decided to start their company while on vacation in Mexico.
The silver, reposado, and Anejo varietals come from 100% blue weber agave grown in both the highland and lowland districts of Jalisco, Mexico.
11. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt - Miraval Rosé
Even though Brangelina is no longer together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's prize-winning Château Miraval Rosé wine will continue to be produced.
In 2008, the pair purchased Château Miraval in Provence, and in August 2014, they married there. They opted to maintain the winery as a family investment, so we can still enjoy the light, fruity rosé.
12. Robert De Niro - VDKA 6100 Vodka
Robert De Niro is a well-known vodka connoisseur, so it's no surprise that the Oscar winner and director launched his brand years before celebrity spirits became popular. His ties to the New Zealand-based distillery are undoubtedly a factor in the brand's success, and the 6100 was developed after hundreds of taste tests.
This is the ideal cocktail for martini fans who want to make their own "De Niro Martini," which the actor used as a starting point for his vodka creation: four ounces of vodka, one ounce of dry vermouth, and a lemon twist.
