If you're looking for a classic cocktail that is perfect for any occasion, look no further than the martini. It's made with gin and vermouth, garnished with either olive or lemon twist to make it more interesting!
A dry martini uses little to no vermouth as an ingredient. European recipes call for equal parts of gin and vermouth, but the American version suggests using more than twice as much gin compared to vermouth.

2 ½ oz. Gin
-
½ oz. Dry vermouth
-
1 dash of Orange bitters
-
Ice cubes for shaking and stirring

Recipe Note
The less the vermouth, the drier the martini is.
