The Essential Bar Book for Home Mixologists: Tools, Techniques, and Spirits to Master Cocktails

The drinks in this book are delicious and easy to make. I love that the drinks are sorted by alcohol so that if I am low or out of a particular drink I can look through the book and find drinks based on what I have.

Bought this book along with a gift card to the local wine shop. The recipient was really pleased with the variety of cocktails. The illustrations are colourful and the overall book is very appealing. The measurement conversions are a handy thing to have along with a little glossary of terms. I'd recommend this book to anyone wanting to get into making cocktails at home without it being overly complicated.

Perfect for the beginner

Not what I thought it was going to be, but informative anyway

I like there’s a few new twists on some of the classics. The tools suggestions was really nice, too. Nothing not to love about this book.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my sister in law who wanted to learn more about mixology, as well as pairing this with some cocktail mixers and tools this was the perfect gift! I was actually surprised at the size of the book as it is rather small but when I read through it myself I really enjoyed the recipes & writing style! As soon as she got back from all of the holiday travel she tried out a recipe and really enjoyed it! I think it is a great book & gift for the starting mixologist!
