1. Guglielmo Miriello

Guglielmo Miriello @guglielmomiriello is one of the world’s best mixologists. He was born in Italy and started experimenting with drinks at a young age. By the time he went to hotel management school, he had already developed a passion for mixed drinks. After graduating from his program, he moved to Milan, where he improved his technique by working at prestigious hotels such as Bulgari and Excelsior Hotel Gallia.

He then moved abroad to work in Shanghai as bar manager at Maison Pourcel’s Sugar Bar-a Michelin starred restaurant. Some of his renowned recognitions include being a finalist of the Innovative Drink of the Year Contest in New York (2010) and was the Italian representative in the World Class global finals in New Delhi (2011).

2. Jack Sotti

As the general manager of Boilermaker House, one of Australia’s most exciting venues that offers a wide range of boutique beers and cocktails, it is safe to say Jack Sotti @jacksotti knows his way around a bar.

With almost 10 years in the industry and being ranked third overall at the Diageo World Class cocktail competition in South Africa, arguably the world's most prestigious cocktail event, he has proven himself time and time again as one of today's best mixologists.

3. Ronan Collins

With a resume that includes bartending in New York, Belfast, Dublin, Cape Town, and London, as well as working at 10 Downing Street, Ronan Collins @whiskey4breakfast has now made a move to be a consultant working across all areas of the drinks industry.

His areas include advocacy, cocktails, spirits, and design to bring his clients and audiences education, flavor, and overall enjoyment. 

4. Shannon Tebay

The Savoy Hotel, London's most iconic and prestigious hotel, has appointed Shannon Tebay @shannontebay as the new head bartender of its American Bar. This makes Tebay only the second woman to take up this role in the bar's 128-year history.

Drawing on her experience at Death & Co., one of New York City's most highly respected cocktail bars, Tebay is set to bring a fresh perspective to The Savoy's drinks menu. Her cocktails are rooted in simplicity, with each drink constructed around one key flavor.

5. Isabella Monika Lombardo

Isabella Monika Lombardo @lifeofisabellalombardo is a bartender based in Vienna who has been turning heads with her creative and exciting take on classic cocktails. She was recently awarded bartender of the year in 2022 and female bartender of the year from 2020 to 2021.

Lombardo's inventive drinks are not only delicious but also visually appealing, making her one of the most sought-after bartenders in Europe. If you're ever in Vienna, be sure to stop by her bar for a drink that you won't forget!

6. Alex Kratena

Alex Kratena @alex_kratena is a multi-award-winning bartender who has been named as one of the most influential people in the drinks industry. His work includes the Muyu liqueurs and bars project Tayēr + Elementary.

Previously Head Bartender at Artesian London, he led his team to unrivaled international success with multiple awards, including being named ‘World’s Best Bar’ for four consecutive years from 2012 until their departure in 2015.

He has also collected several personal accolades, including “Best International Bartender” at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards. Aside from being active behind the bar, Alex is also co-founder of the drinks industry non-profit organization P(OUR).

7. Ian Burrell

In a world of ever-changing and complex alcoholic beverages, one man has managed to stand out from the rest. Ian Burrell @therumambassador, award-winning "EduTainer" and ex-professional basketball player in the UK has redefined the definition of an international spirits ambassador.

He has established himself as the preeminent authority on all things rum by conducting master classes and seminars, sipping cocktails, and judging competitions on no less than 7 continents worldwide.

With his passion for educating others about this versatile spirit, Burrell is helping to shape the future of the rum industry one cocktail at a time.

8. David Palanque

The international award-winning head bartender, David Palanque @davidpalanque has created iconic cocktails and an extensive range of drinks. After years of experience and accolades, including being dubbed French bartending Champion on several occasions, David is now the head bartender at the Iconic Harry’s Bar in Cannes recently opened in 2021.

He brings a unique perspective to this position by combining his vast knowledge with fresh ingredients and innovative techniques.

9. Josh Linfitt

After 18 years of working in the drinks industry, Josh Linfitt @cocktailjosh is a recognized bartender and awarded Brand Ambassador with a strong social media following. He has helped to build a wide variety of high-performing premium spirits brands, using his creativity to give the brands life and personality.

With all this experience under his belt, he founded Propping Up The Bar (PUTB), his drinks consultancy company, during the lockdown. He has now returned behind the bar as a new addition to Adam Handling restaurant groups—Ugly Butterfly, Carbis Bay, and St. Ives in Cornwall, UK.

10. Jeremy Le Blanche

Jeremy Le Blanche @jeremy_leblanche is a 29-year-old French-born cocktail prodigy who has had a brilliant career that took him from France to Switzerland, Australia, and the UK. He is currently the bar director at Thyme Bar, an underground speakeasy based in Manhattan.

In his short career thus far, Le Blanche has won numerous awards for his cocktails and innovative drink creations.  He is known for his unique flavor combinations and intricate presentation style.

With all of this experience and talent under his belt, there's no doubt that Le Blanche is one bartender to watch!
