Vanilla Matcha Smoothie Recipe
The Irish are known for their love of alcohol, but some may be looking to avoid it this year on St. Patrick’s day. But don't worry! There is a great alternative to enjoy and get all the benefits of celebrating without the hangover. This Vanilla Matcha Smoothie, while non-alcoholic, is also colored green. This means that it is still perfect for this holiday!
1½ cups Hot water, mixed with 1½ teaspoons matcha powder, cooled
½ cup Whole milk
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Whipped cream for topping
1 pinch Matcha powder for topping
Pour the matcha mixture into an ice cube tray. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Add the matcha ice cubes and the rest of the ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth and chilled.
Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and a pinch of matcha powder.
