Very simple and basic setup, with a nice thick glass Gallon container. Honestly, it is only lacking a couple of items like a Hydrometer and a "simple" recipe.The included pamphlet is informative, but the recipe is a bit overwhelming for a novice and makes you feel like you can't get started without more gear. Grab some honey, mix that lovely stuff up and get yer Mead on!
