  • Clean Them Regularly
  • Any type of furniture can gather dust over time, be sure to clean your LED light regularly. Use a vacuum with a brush extension to loosen and suck up the dust and a soft cloth to wipe.

  • Avoid Extreme Temperatures
  • Extreme environments can affect the light’s performance as the temperature directly affects the electronics.

    Types of LED Lights

    • DC LED Flex Strips. They’re made as a flexible strip with an adhesive on the back for easier attachment. You cut it two inches for different designs. It can also have waterproof options for beach bars.
    • AC LED Flex Strips. These are flexible strips of light you can run straight from the outlet. It needs to be close to the outlet in order to have it displayed.
    • LED Rope Light. These are omnidirectional LEDs encased in a standard rope light packaging.
    • High Output LED Strips. These are the strongest LEDs in terms of power use.

  • This is excellent for beginners. The low voltage is safe for newbies since they are less likely to get shocked or into an accident.

  • Waterproof
  • This is great for beach and pool bars. You can decorate your bar with waterproof LED lights and not worry about it short-circuiting. Be sure to check if it’s waterproof before installing it.

  • Flexible
  • Most LED lights are flexible, and you can create different designs with this feature. Some people have created images and writings with LED lights.
