We crave Fall flavors as the weather cools and the leaves change color. This October, there will be plenty of recipes for fall appetizers and desserts, but we shouldn't forget about the delicious cocktails that go well with the season.

This blog post will share a range of classic drinks with gin, vodka, rum, and other spirits. Many can be mixed in large batches to serve at parties or holiday dinners. Here are the world’s best cocktails this month!

1. Silver Lining Negroni

Few cocktails are as versatile as the legendary Negroni when it comes to a traditional beverage to savor before a meal. This aperitif is made with equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth.

This Silver Lining Negroni variation by Good Golly Mix Molly is unique and refreshing, thanks to Ahus Aquavit. Simply add a splash of orange flower water to create a unique and fresh flavor.


For the Orange Flower Water:

  • 2 cups Orange flower blossoms, loosely packed
  • 2 cups Distilled water

For the Silver Lining Negroni:


To Make the Orange Flower Water:

  1. In a mortar and pestle, crush the orange blossoms until they form a paste. Set aside for 2 hours.
  2. Combine the petal paste and distilled water in a ball jar. Cover and stir. Allow to sit for two weeks.
  3. Strain the blossoms from the water and fill sterilized jars with the liquid.

To Make the Silver Lining Negroni:

  1. Combine the gin, Salers Gentian Apéritif, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well.
  2. Pour into a rocks glass and add a large ice cube.
  3. Serve with an orange peel for garnish.

2. The Perfect Martini

In cocktail jargon, "perfect" refers to a drink that contains equal amounts of dry and sweet vermouth. And that's exactly what The Perfect Martini by Mls Drink delivers! This fantastic drink is ideal for anyone who enjoys gin.

You can also make a perfect Manhattan and other "perfect" versions of your favorite drinks, such as the Affinity cocktail, which contains scotch whisky.



  1. Pour the gin, vermouths, and orange bitters into a mixing glass with ice cubes.
  2. Stir for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish the drink with a lemon twist or olive skewer. Serve and enjoy.

3. Salted Coco-Melón Margs

It was created by Anu Shukla and is unlike any other beverage because of the creamy coconut popsicles as garnish. Furthermore, the Tajin seasoning adds a tangy, salty, and mildly spicy flavor.


For the Coconut Cream Popsicle:

To Make the Coconut Cream Popsicle:

  1. Combine the coconut milk, shredded coconut, condensed milk, and heavy cream in a blender.
  2. Fill each popsicle mold halfway with the mixture. Insert the sticks. If your mold does not have this feature, freeze the popsicles for 2 hours or until semi-firm, then place wooden sticks in the center.
  3. Continue to freeze the popsicles for at least another 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Run the mold's base under warm water to remove the popsicles.

To Make the Salted Coco-Melon Margs:

  1. Place the watermelon juice, tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. 
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds or until the shaker's outside is ice cold.
  3. Pour the cocktail into the prepared glass using a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon.
  4. Garnish with a coconut cream popsicle with tajin salt.

4. Bluegroni

The blue color of Bluegroni by Matt H. comes from the use of Sons of Vancouver Blue Curacao, which is both sweet and bitter. The spice also adds a wonderful contrast to the spirit.

Woods Cascadian Gin and Woods Chiaro Amaro are also featured in this cocktail recipe. The gin has a reasonable amount of bitterness that extends into a lengthy, nuanced finish. Meanwhile, the amaro's citrus-floral and bittersweet flavor contributes to the drink’s distinct taste.



  1. Fill a mixing glass halfway with ice, combine the ingredients, and stir.
  2. Pour the mixture over a rocks glass with a large block of ice.
  3. Spritz and garnish with an orange peel.

5. Hurricane Cocktail

The Hurricane by Cocktails Under Quarantine includes two kinds of rum, lime juice, orange juice, passion fruit purée, grenadine, and simple syrup. It has all the qualities of a great party drink: sugary, fruity, and boozy!

Although the specifics of what goes into a Hurricane can vary from one bartender to another, it's not uncommon for the cocktail to be blended with pre-made bottled mixers. Its fresh citrus, passion fruit, and handmade grenadine complement each other to keep the drink’s sweetness in check.


For the Homemade Grenadine:

To Make the Homemade Grenadine:

  1. Cut the pomegranates into halves and juice them with a citrus press. Alternatively, use two cups of high-quality bottled pomegranate juice.
  2. Microwave the juice in a large glass, measuring cup, or other microwave-safe containers for 1 to 2 minutes or until warm.
  3. Stir the sugar until it is completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in the pomegranate molasses and orange blossom water to mix.
  5. Allow the grenadine to cool before corking. As a preservative, add an ounce of vodka if desired.

To Make the Hurricane Cocktail:

  1. In a shaker with ice, combine the light and dark rums, lime and orange juices, passion fruit purée, simple syrup, and homemade grenadine. Shake until well-chilled.
  2. Pour into a large Hurricane glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with an orange half-wheel and cherry.

This light drink is packed with flavor thanks to the combination of sharp grapefruit juice with sweet and savory simple syrup. This grapefruit drink has a wonderful aroma thanks to the rosemary garnish. Furthermore, it serves as an ideal tool for stirring your beverage as you sip it.


For the Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4-6 Rosemary spears

For the Rosemary Greyhound:

  • 1 ½ oz. Gin
  • ½ oz. Rosemary simple syrup
  • 4 oz. Fresh pink grapefruit juice
  • Sprig of Fresh rosemary for garnish


To Make the Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  1. Bring the water to a rolling boil and stir in the sugar to dissolve.
  2. Add the rosemary spears and allow the infusion to boil for 60 seconds 
  3. Remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how strong you want the syrup to be.
  4. Pour the cooled simple syrup into an airtight glass container using a mesh sieve.

To Make the Rosemary Greyhound:

  1. Combine the gin, rosemary simple syrup, and grapefruit juice in a large drink filled with ice.
  2. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

9. Pineapple Passion

Unleash your bartending creativity with a Pineapple Passion by She Shed Cocktails. It is a delightful tropical drink ideal for hot Summer afternoons and chilly Fall seasons.

If you haven't tried passion fruit yet, we encourage you to do so. You'll love its sweet flavor, complemented by an acidic note that distinguishes it from the rest!


For the Passion Fruit Syrup:

  • 1 ½ cups Water
  • 2 to 4 tbsp. Maple syrup (You can also use agave nectar or honey)
  • 1 ¼ cup Passion fruit pulp with seeds, about 14-16 average-sized ripe passion fruit
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric
  • Dash of Black pepper
  • 1 to 3 tbsp. Mezcal (optional for smokiness)

For the Pineapple Passion Cocktail:


To Make the Passion Fruit Syrup:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and sweetener. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and 5 minutes more on medium heat.
  2. Extract the pulp from the passion fruit.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the passion fruit pulp, turmeric, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  4. Steep the mixture for 2-3 hours to allow the flavor to blend well.
  5. Strain the mixture through a mesh strainer into a glass jar, squeezing off the juice as you go.
  6. Save the simple syrup for cocktails, ice cream, or juice concentrate.

To Make the Pineapple Passion Cocktail:

  1. Add the pineapple gin, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and passion fruit syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass and top it with soda.
  3. Garnish with passionfruit pulp, fresh mint, and a dehydrated pineapple flower.

10. Clarified Soju Milk Punch

A glass of Clarified Soju Milk Punch

The earliest known written recipe for a Milk Punch dates back to 1711. This Clarified Soju Milk Punch by The Bitter Gringo can yield approximately 10 servings, perfect for mini gatherings.

The clarified version of this drink is known as the "English Milk Punch.” Charles Dickens was a huge fan of this mixture, as bottles of milk punch were discovered in his cellar.



  1. Remove lemon zest from the peels and put it into an airtight container.
  2. Add the freshly sliced pineapples to the lemon peels.
  3. In a small pan, lightly toast the spices before adding them to the airtight container.
  4. Mix in the sugar and spices using a muddler. Add the juice of two lemons and muddle some more.
  5. Boil the water to make the jasmine tea.
  6. Strain the tea and add it to the mixture with the spirits and bitters. Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bring the coconut milk to a simmer.
  8. Add the juice from one lemon to the punch, followed by the boiling milk to the airtight container. As the colids coagulate, the mixture will gradually curdle.
  9. Using a cheesecloth-lined strainer or chinois, strain the punch. If the cheesecloth becomes clogged with solid milk particles, it may need to be replaced. If you want a clearer mixture, filter it a second time through coffee filters using a pour-over method.
  10. Refrigerate the clarified milk punch in an airtight jar for up to two months.
  11. Pour the chilled milk punch over a large ice cube in your favorite glass.
  12. Add freshly shaved nutmeg on top and serve.


With the cooler weather and shorter days in October, there's bound to be less time for idleness, so use this to your advantage and mix a delicious drink!
