Ingredients

For the Orange Flower Water:

  • 2 cups Orange flower blossoms, loosely packed
  • 2 cups Distilled water

To Make the Orange Flower Water:

  1. In a mortar and pestle, crush the orange blossoms until they form a paste. Set aside for 2 hours.
  2. Combine the petal paste and distilled water in a ball jar. Cover and stir. Allow to sit for two weeks.
  3. Strain the blossoms from the water and fill sterilized jars with the liquid.

To Make the Silver Lining Negroni:

  1. Combine the gin, Salers Gentian Apéritif, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well.
  2. Pour into a rocks glass and add a large ice cube.
  3. Serve with an orange peel for garnish.

To Make the Coconut Cream Popsicle:

  1. Combine the coconut milk, shredded coconut, condensed milk, and heavy cream in a blender.
  2. Fill each popsicle mold halfway with the mixture. Insert the sticks. If your mold does not have this feature, freeze the popsicles for 2 hours or until semi-firm, then place wooden sticks in the center.
  3. Continue to freeze the popsicles for at least another 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Run the mold's base under warm water to remove the popsicles.

To Make the Salted Coco-Melon Margs:

  1. Place the watermelon juice, tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. 
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds or until the shaker's outside is ice cold.
  3. Pour the cocktail into the prepared glass using a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon.
  4. Garnish with a coconut cream popsicle with tajin salt.

  3. Stir the sugar until it is completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in the pomegranate molasses and orange blossom water to mix.
  5. Allow the grenadine to cool before corking. As a preservative, add an ounce of vodka if desired.

  1. Combine the gin, rosemary simple syrup, and grapefruit juice in a large drink filled with ice.
  2. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

9. Pineapple Passion

  • 1 ½ cups Water
  • 2 to 4 tbsp. Maple syrup (You can also use agave nectar or honey)
  • 1 ¼ cup Passion fruit pulp with seeds, about 14-16 average-sized ripe passion fruit
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric
  • Dash of Black pepper
  • 1 to 3 tbsp. Mezcal (optional for smokiness)

For the Pineapple Passion Cocktail:

To Make the Passion Fruit Syrup:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and sweetener. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and 5 minutes more on medium heat.
  2. Extract the pulp from the passion fruit.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the passion fruit pulp, turmeric, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  4. Steep the mixture for 2-3 hours to allow the flavor to blend well.
  5. Strain the mixture through a mesh strainer into a glass jar, squeezing off the juice as you go.
  6. Save the simple syrup for cocktails, ice cream, or juice concentrate.

To Make the Pineapple Passion Cocktail:

  1. Add the pineapple gin, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and passion fruit syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass and top it with soda.
  3. Garnish with passionfruit pulp, fresh mint, and a dehydrated pineapple flower.

10. Clarified Soju Milk Punch

The earliest known written recipe for a Milk Punch dates back to 1711. This Clarified Soju Milk Punch by The Bitter Gringo can yield approximately 10 servings, perfect for mini gatherings.

The clarified version of this drink is known as the "English Milk Punch.” Charles Dickens was a huge fan of this mixture, as bottles of milk punch were discovered in his cellar.

  1. Remove lemon zest from the peels and put it into an airtight container.
  2. Add the freshly sliced pineapples to the lemon peels.
  3. In a small pan, lightly toast the spices before adding them to the airtight container.
  4. Mix in the sugar and spices using a muddler. Add the juice of two lemons and muddle some more.
  5. Boil the water to make the jasmine tea.
  6. Strain the tea and add it to the mixture with the spirits and bitters. Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bring the coconut milk to a simmer.
  8. Add the juice from one lemon to the punch, followed by the boiling milk to the airtight container. As the colids coagulate, the mixture will gradually curdle.
  9. Using a cheesecloth-lined strainer or chinois, strain the punch. If the cheesecloth becomes clogged with solid milk particles, it may need to be replaced. If you want a clearer mixture, filter it a second time through coffee filters using a pour-over method.
  10. Refrigerate the clarified milk punch in an airtight jar for up to two months.
  11. Pour the chilled milk punch over a large ice cube in your favorite glass.
  12. Add freshly shaved nutmeg on top and serve.
