Ingredients
For the thyme simple syrup:
For the cocktail:
- 1 tbsp. Coarse salt for rimming the glass
- 1 Lime wedge
- 3 oz. Freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
- 2 oz. Vodka
- ½ oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ oz. Thyme simple syrup
- Lime wheels or thyme sprigs for garnish
- Ice
Directions
For the thyme simple syrup:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and thyme.
Let the sugar dissolve, remove from heat, and set aside to steep.
Strain into an air-tight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
For the cocktail:
Using the lime wedge, wet the rims of your preferred cocktail glass.
Dip the rims on a plate filled with coarse salt.
In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice, combine the rest of the ingredients.
