Ingredients

10 Mint leaves

¾ oz. Simple syrup

2 oz. Blended scotch

Finely crushed ice

Splash of soda water

Mint sprigs for garnish
Directions
In a julep cup, muddle the mint leaves with simple syrup.
Add the Scotch.
Fill the cup entirely with finely crushed ice. Stir until the outside of the cup frosts.
Mound the ice over the top of the cup. Add a splash of soda water.
Garnish with mint sprigs.
Recipe Note
Blended Scotch has vanilla, toffee, and marzipan notes that dominate the mellow sweetness with lingering creaminess.
