½ cup Dried hibiscus flowers

1 oz. Hibiscus simple syrup

1½ oz. Vodka

5 oz. Sparkling water (or club soda)

For the Hibiscus Simple syrup:
Add the sugar, water, and dried hibiscus flowers to a small pot.
- Heat over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Let it simmer until the mixture reaches a syrup consistency.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Then strain out flowers. Set it aside.
For the cocktail:
Add vodka and 1 ounce of the simple syrup to a tall glass.
Stir together and add ice.
Top with sparkling water.
Serve with a wedge of fresh lime.
