Cranberry cocktails are a must-try this holiday season. They are warm, spicy, refreshing, and tart due to the cranberries, citrus, and ginger beer. If you don't like whiskey, you can substitute vodka for whiskey in this recipe.

Ingredients

1 oz. Cranberry juice, unsweetened
3 oz. Fresh Orange juice,
2 oz. Whiskey
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. Freshly lemon juice
1/2 oz. Simple syrup
2 sprigs Thyme
2 oz. Ginger beer

Directions

Combine all ingredients except the ginger beer in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain into a chilled glass.
Finish with ginger beer and garnish with orange peel and fresh thyme.
