This dinner cocktail is the perfect way to set a sweet, sophisticated tone for your evening. With rum as its base and ingredients that include apricot brandy plus grenadine, it has just enough flavor without being too intense or overwhelming.

Ingredients

1½ oz. Light rum
1 oz. Apricot brandy
½ oz. Sweet vermouth
1 tsp. Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 dash Grenadine
Lemon twist for garnish

Directions

In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients, and fill with ice.
Shake well until combined and chilled.
Double strain into chilled glasses.
