This is a bright and summery drink, perfect for entertaining or just sitting down with friends. It's sweet without being too overwhelming. Thanks in part to the apples, which lend their natural crispiness as well as pears for depth of flavor while still letting some refreshingly embodied bubbles take over!

Apple And Pear White Sangria

  • 1 bottle Moscato wine

  • ½ cup Lemon liqueur

  • Zest of 2 lemons

  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup Fresh lemon juice (from two lemons)

  • 1 pc. Granny Smith apple, cored, halved, and thinly sliced

  • 1 pc. Bartlett pear, cored, halved, and thinly sliced

  • 1 can Seltzer

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine wine, lemon liqueur, lemon zest, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.

  2. Add lemon juice, apple slices, and pear slices and mix well.

  3. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for 4 hours to chill and allow flavors to blend.

  4. Just before serving, top sangria off with seltzer.
