Directions
Start by pouring the peppermint schnapps into a preheated mug (to help keep your drink hotter much longer) or coffee glass.
Add the remaining hot chocolate and bourbon, and make sure to stir well until the peppermint schnapps is fully dissolved.
Top the glass with your favorite toppings. You can use whipped cream, grated chocolate, chocolate syrup, or marshmallows, depending on your own liking.
Recipe Note
To preheat your mug, fill it with hot water and let it sit for a few minutes before preparing your drink. You can also fill your mug with normal tap water and heat it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds until the mug becomes warm.
