I was using a large, heavy, electric juicer until I saw a friend's Zulay Professional Juicer. I ordered one and we use it often. It appears to be made well, takes up very little room, is very easy to use, and makes the best citrus juice.

NOTE: This is the first time that I have ever 1) received an item from Amazon, 2) unboxed it, 3) used it, and 4) immediately reviewed it. It is THAT good.Before I review it, note: there was a pleasant surprise in the box: a statement that said: “This product is guaranteed for life and, if you are ever dissatisfied, we will replace it or refund you — and, you will not have to go to the post office.” Friends, that is confidence by a manufacturer. And, it is definitely warranted.To begin, this …is a heavy unit. And, it needs to be to do what it does well. And it does. Some of the other reviews suggest that you need to stabilize it with your second hand while squeezing. This led me to believe that you would need to put a firm “second grip” on the tool while using. Not so. Your second hand is mostly there for insurance — in the rare situation where the machine’s balance may be disturbed.Second, this tool requires a fair amount of strength to use. It is not difficult for me, as a guy, to use it — but my wife, who is small, could not activate the lever. So, I would say that, unless there is a guy in your home, or a larger & stronger female, or you use it when friends are visiting, then I could not recommend it.Aside from the above caveat, buy it. Seriously, buy it. I just squeezed five medium/large limes — and they yielded a little over a cup of lime juice. The best way to do it is 1) squeeze the 1/2 fruit, 2) lock the machine in place (this happens automatically when the lever reaches its full stroke) and 3) let the pressure push out the remaining drips for 15 seconds or so.I don’t know if this machine would work on a grapefruit, but I seriously doubt it — the “contact parts” seem to be too small. But it will drain lemons, limes, and certainly at least medium size oranges. My use will be primarily limited to extracting juice for marinades — and this machine simply excels at that task.A most important point for those who are getting older and/or have arthritis in the hands: PLEASE do not use “hand citrus squeezers” — instead, buy this machine — and give the included hand tool to one of your children — which I plan to do. Related, buy several types of jar and lid openers — and use them ALWAYS — and especially for water bottles — which are very hard on your wrists.

Very easy to use and clean.....

I am very happy with the purchase. The juicer is great, convenient and easy to use as well as easy to clean. Their customer service is amazing! While juicing a pomegranate, the item broke however the team was very understanding and quickly replaced the item. I have been using it everyday and really love it!

I purchased this item this past May and it looks great and works great as well. It is a professional level juicer, and gets the job done.In November our juicer broke . . . the handle just broke off. We use the juicer a lot, but we still felt it should be under warranty. So, I reached out to Zulay to ask if we were under warranty.It WAS . . . as they warranty their products for LIFE. I had already purchased a new one, as I we use it daily. Zulay issued a complete refund on the original ord…er (which actually cost more money than the replacement . . . I think they were on sale for the Christmas season perhaps).Anyway, Zulay not only makes great products, but they STAND BY THEM on the off chance that there has been a defect.Would definitely recommend and will be looking to them first for other kitchen needs we may need!

This juicer works well. It's strong and does the job well. My only complaint is that when the handle is pulled down to press the fruit, it hits the cup.
