A few reviews mentioned their decanter was chipped or had flaws so I was a little skeptical. This item is packed in foam and mine arrived in perfect order.Love the cork ball for those nights when you want just a glass or two. No need to pour back into.the bottle. Cool iridescent color, subtle, not as dark as pictured online. I like the grip and it feels very sturdy. I have not used the SS ball bearings, will add comments if I see something unusual, but I'm guessing they will work fine.

It’s easy to use. It’s easy to clean. It’s easy to store. I’ve received many compliments on its looks and it’s ease of use. I keep my red wine in a cooler at 55°. Perfect temp for storing, but, for me, too cold for drinking. So, I decant and let the wine warm some. Also, I live in a small condo and storage is always a problem. This decanter fits my available space.
