This was a fast and fun read about wine and whiskey whiskey deuce. It isn’t a war book and it isn’t a wine book. It just kind of is. It was enjoyable.The only thing I would change was I would have liked a better description of how the wine was made. The science and technique was danced around.

A surprisingly good read about the history to preserve one France’s great treasures in one of the most trying times in their history. Poignant narrations that engage the reader. I loved this book!

I enjoy history and wine and this book is all about that. I read it in 2 days!

I’ve read this and given it away so many times I needed the kindle version. You learn a whole new level of respect for French wines and wineries after reading this.

I would not have known this wasn’t a new book.
