Read the fine print, the gas cylinders do not come with the machine; they are a separate $60 purchase.I did not notice that it was a separate purchase and it was a disappointment.I do like the machine now that I have the gas cylinders. It should be written in bold letters that the cylinders are a separate purchase!

My husband and I have had 2 Sodastream machines. We initially thought they were great and loved supporting an Israeli company.But our first one died after a few years, so we bought another.When the second one died after not that much use, I began looking for alternatives.The Wild and Kind got very positive reviews so I ordered one. The description said most carbonators would fit, but when my husband tried one of the Sodastream carbonators it did not seem to fit ( the company does not include a… carbonator). I emailed the company and they responded the same day- they said the Sodastream carb does fit and she sent me a picture. After my husband saw the pic he was able to fit it.Not only makes great seltzer, but it’s a much nicer design and looks beautiful in my kitchen. I also love that the company responded with help so quickly. And it’s cheaper than Sodastream.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I did find out you need to get a fairly expensive tank for the unit. Once I did that I super charged the first bottle. I used 2.5 hits to the filtered water from our tap. Using the back button to release the trapped gas I removed the bottle. There was a very nice intense fizz in the water. It gave my water new life. I brought it to work and poured a couple coworkers a glass. They both bought one. There are 3 bottles included which is nice. I haven't tried… any flavorings since I liked the water virgin so much. A surprise hit.

Looks awesome and blends in well without being an eyesore, it can be left out and used whenever! Simply not buying the canned or bottled seltzer makes a huge difference, we drink what we make and what’s left over can be re-carbonated. We drink so much less soda and often add our own juices or natural flavors. Highly recommend.

My kids went through 20 bottles of water the first weekend. I’ve started using a filtered water pitcher to fill the bottles. Smart investment.

It took me some time to get to reviewing this unit because it doesn’t include CO2 bottle so I had to get one. It’s uses standard 60L CO2 cartridges that sell in Walmart and most major retailers. I don’t believe you can but those online due to shipping restrictions for pressurized items. Luckily, not difficult to find. I got the red unit and it looks great. It comes with 3 color coded bottles so each family member can have their own. You can adjust the level of bubbles!!! I LOVE highly carbonate…d water and will only drink from freshly opened bottle. This machine does excellent job! It’s tall and a little bulky but so worth the counter space! It’s easy to use and no it’s doesn’t need power, only the CO2 tank! This would be a great gift but remember to include CO2 cartridge!
