    I bought one of these years ago. I wanted something with a long throw and a long service life. This lasted over five years in a very active household. The half dozen before that six months to a year.

    This can opener is made extremely well. I have never liked handheld can openers. This can opener works so great - it is sharp, comfortable and makes opening cans with this so much easier than fighting with an electric can opener. My best friend said “It is the best, you will love it!”. He was so RIGHT. I would encourage older people to purchase these as they are so easy to use and take up less space.
