I wanted a stainless muddler to muddle things like tunafish salad that wood is not an appropriate material for. Most muddlers are wood, and this was the only one that wasn't that I could find. Stone muddlers don't usually have the serration needed, either. This muddler is fabulous, so much so that I'd consider buying it for others as gifts!

Looks and feels solid and high quality. A good pick.

Why did I not have one of these before. Struggled with a wooden spoon for years. This make short work of the job.

My last muddler filled with water every time I washed it.

You cannot get a better one than this one.I mostly use it to smash avocados for my guacamole - perfect and so easy to clean.You cannot be disappointed.
