Slsy 8 Gallon Alcohol Still Water Alcohol Distiller, 30 Liters DIY Whiskey Still Stainless Steel Spirits Boiler with Copper Tube, Home Brew Wine Making Kits with Thumper Keg
Firstly, I noticed reviews complaining about issues with seals/gaskets, but I think part of the issue is not knowing how to deal with the type of seals used, and so wanted to provide tips to avoid frustrations. Soft silicone gaskets require a softer touch than rubber. For instance, all of the seals are silicone, which is easier to work with in the sense that it is more flexible than rubber, but can create issues at the same time, in particular with the metal steam hose seals. Because of their de…sign, and the softness, you can't tighten them down until everything is in place. Twisting the steam hoses such that they rotate on the seals, which would be no issue with hard rubber gaskets, can twist the soft silicone out of shape and create a leak if the hoses move when they seals are "pinched" by being tightened much at all. Attach loosely, position everything, check the seals are sitting correctly, then hand tighten gently but firmly. Always remember -A pot still should NOT be a high pressure system. All you need is to direct the flow of steam. The pressure created is less than an aquarium air pump creates, essentially none. This extends to the seals on the main pot and kicker. On the main pot, you don't even need to clamp down the spring arms. Just the pressure they create with the springs is easily enough, and leaving them unclamped provides a safety mechanism in that if there is a pressure building event, it will pop the top seal instead of pressurizing and later bursting violently. The kicker only has clamps, so they must be used.Of course if either pot is bent out of shape, the seals may not work at all even clamped down, so check carefully not just for dents, but warps in the overall shape. If there's damage you can't bend back, consider adding a thick, soft seal to the pot lid or replacing the pot top gasket with a thicker, softer one.

Worked surprisingly well. Held up nicely to the heat and pressure with no leaks. A perfect amount of pipe to accomplish everything on a normal stovetop properly. Excellent product for the price and no complaints so far.

This works great. Some others have had dents and packaging problem or missing parts. I have read in other reviews or just bad designs. This still is very good for the price. Everything works exactly as it should and it was packaged very well to prevent damage. The thumper design is correct. The only thing lacking is directions on putting it together. It has some directions and they aren't bad just not specific enough for the options that you have. Also does not come with a water pump that you w…ill need. I set mine up and take it apart and clean it regularly and have no issues. The omly down side is the thumper only has 3 latches and you have to be careful to get thesilicone ring set properly when loving into place or you will get a leak you won't notice until you are in the run. Very good deal.

Received mine just a couple of days ago. No damage. It looks wonderful. I cleaned it,and just did a quick run with water. At 212°it was sending water out to me. Can not wait to sanitize the still and distill so.e water, being hooch would be against the law.

As described, but you will want to replace the main container tube with a copper tube that is much longer.

The product arrived on time and as advertised. I had it set up and running in no time. I did have a slight malfunction with one particular piece but after sending an email to them they fixed the problem. I was a tad sceptical at first because I didn't receive a return email but they did make it right. I not only recommend this, especially for beginners but the customer service is outstanding.
