    This is a very easy brewing kit to follow. Great for beginners. There are also videos out there if you need extra help. However, if you're using bottles any bigger than a regular stubbie, put in 2 sugar tablets. Instructions say 1 but don't mention the size of the bottle. My bottles are about 700mL and one sugar tablet didn't quite produce enough fizz in my opinion. You do get plenty of sugar tablets to use, so there is enough. I recommend filling your bottles and then sharing all the sugar tab…

    The only downfall I find with this item, is that it comes with a plastic jug, rather than glass, but then I'm sure it would be more expensive! All in all, it was very easy to make, and it is absolutely delicious beer!!

    I had a little trouble with the first delivery but the seller made it right. This was the first batch of beer I have ever made and it turned out great and tasted delicious! A great introduction into homebrew especially if you're not quit sure if you want to try the hobby. The kit is as easy as can be and I've since made a few other batches from 5 gallon kits and someday I will look back at this one gallon kit that got me all started.     The wide mouth makes it painless to clean, the spigot makes bottling quick and easy. They are clear, like glass, so you can see everything that is going on in there (keep it out of sunlight). Also, the spigot means you can tap a quick taste to check progress without opening up the jar. It is one gallon size, and the kit that comes with it is easy. For me, the 1gal kits are more convenient, 6 or 7 bottles is enough for me for one batch. And no heavy lifting (5gal = 40lbs).

    I gave this as a Christmas present and the recipient was excited to have this as an introduction into brewing. The kit included everything needed except the bottles and the instructions appeared to be easy to follow. It shipped quickly and there were several styles of beer to choose from. Very happy with item overall!
