Details: Scrappy's Bitters is the first New American bitters company to commercially produce handcrafted bitters.     Good dark chocolate flavor. It tastes more chocolate when mixed with simple syrup then added to a drink, than just added to the drink alone. But the flavor is a true luscious dark chocolate.

    The bottle neck has a theo chocolate sticker on it and theo is one of my favorite high quality chocolates. I immediately made a Rye Manhattan and these bitters create a nice smoothness and brought out a butteryness in the rye. This will be a go to for me and looking forward to trying with more cocktails.

    These are the best chocolate bitters I’ve found! They are well worth the cost. I assure you. I make my own bitters but will buy Scrappy’s chocolate because it’s just perfect in one of my favorite cocktails (a black Manhattan).
