I have been sober since my son was born seven years ago, so when I saw this I thought this would be nice to have a drink but also not get drunk or be tipsy. The drink has a good flavor to it and I can make mock tails with it that I can share with my husband who also doesn’t drink because of health issues. Now when I’m out at a friends house I don’t feel left out just sitting there drinking soda I can now sit there with my pretty glass and have a drink with my friends.

I selected this non-alcoholic Vermouth for cooking in particular so my perspective is probably a little different than that of most reviewers here. So far I have had no issues with this product and it has worked out well for me as a "regular" Vermouth substitute. It took forever to reach me and was tied up in shipping before it arrived. I have had a few products get lost in shipping and I was concerned for a bit that this would be another casualty. However, it arrived shortly after the status wa…s marked as "lost". I was concerned that the exposure to heat during it's extended trip would negatively impact it but it survived, no worse for the wear. I cracked the seal and opened the bottle to get a good whiff. It has a slightly fruity fragrance and appears to be fresh, in spite of the delay in arrival. It doesn't have a bitter bite, either, which was my biggest concern. In cooking it has proven to be a fine substitute for regular Vermouth. Recipes I have tried have not been negatively impacted by the lack of alcohol. Then again, the quantity needed is small too.So far I am pleased with this bottle of non-alcoholic Vermouth, and it has worked out well for me. I use it for cooking instead of sipping, and in that capacity it is a fine replacement for its alcoholic counterpart.

Whenever I have guests I always want to be able to offer a non-alcohol alternative for either religious or health reasons. This tasty beverage doesn't have a "bite" that I often taste in alternative spirts but rather has a smooth fruity finish. At home, I've been using it more in cocktail with regular alcohol spirits so we can cut down on calories and can drink more without getting too buzzed.

I'm just getting into the mocktail scene with my recent sobriety. This is such a fun product for me and helps remain alcohol free. Its bitter but not overwhelming. I mixed this with Orange sparkling water and it was fantastic, I cant wait to use it in other mocktails

Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself. In my pursuit of the N/A (non-alcoholic) dream, I often find myself trying to get items that will allow me to finally drink my favorite beverage, the Negroni. IT's been hard, nigh impossible, to get things put together that come even close to the original beverage in all of it's perfection. Turns out, a beverage heavily made of alcohol doesn't tast…e the same if you take the alcohol out. Who knew! But I'm still trying anyway. I've had these Roots Divino vermouths for awhile now and only just got around to reviewing them because it's turning hot and I'm getting thirsty for cool bar drinks (and popsicles). I got this quite a few months back and have let it age. Well, I busted it out on a particularly hot day, made sure it was cool, and popped it open. Here's my review:Nose: Nose has a concentrated grape aroma and almost a bubble-gum aroma to it. Letting it open up and honestly, it doesn't change a whole lot. I get subtle hints at the botanicals in it on the beginning of the aroma but they fade quickly to a slightly molasses, burnt sugar, and bubble-gum aroma. That said, it's very much not off-putting, far from it. It definitely SMELLS like a vermouth.Taste: Immediately on the front it's quite tart with a wallop of botanicals. The wormwood and orange comes through straight away and gives it a bitter edge that's backed up by a beautiful sweetness coming from either the residual sugars or another flavor. There's something floral in there that I'm having a hard time putting on paper...maybe elderflower? Strong dose of vanilla as well that rounds out what could be rough edges to the...spirit...and makes it smooth and easy to drink. Definitely a quality replacement for vermouth. This stuff is good. And I'm not just saying "it's good for what it is". It's good, period. This is definitely a spirit I'd like to keep on hand. What's preventing me is the price. For $35, it's pretty pricey, even if it definitely feels like a very versatile and handy N/A spirit to have on hand. Maybe I'd get this for parties or something for people that are the designated driver or who just don't want to drink so they'd have something luxe to sip on just like everyone else but I can't justify spending that much to keep it on hand at all times. Also, it does say to refrigerate after opening (which you should do because it's a vermouth) but the bottle it comes in is egregiously large and kinda cumbersome so I think it'll sit in a dark corner of my spirit's safe until I'm ready for another dram. Who knows, maybe it'll change and get even better. Or maybe not. I guess that's for me to see.

I ordered this with the intention to use for cooking versus drinking. I love a good sauteed portabella mushroom in some butter and vermouth. This is an acceptable substitute. Delish!

700 mls of non alcoholic red vermouth in a sturdy and attractive glass bottle. This is a product of Greece and provides 25 calories per each 1.7 ounce serving. The spirit has good flavor complexity with notes of fruit, sweet, herb and bitters swirled together in one heady mix. Works very well as a base layer in mocktails and have immensely enjoyed the brand's suggested mix of 2 parts Tonic water to 1 part aperitif with an orange slice garnish.

I like the flavor and bitterness of this and also like that it is non alcoholic. This gives me the freedom to be able to have a nice drink any time of the day.

I quite enjoy this non-alcoholic vermouth. It has a bittersweet flavor with a hint of grape and a floral note. I mixed it with a yuzu tonic on ice and it was quite enjoyable. It is mildly sweet and not too bitter. The bright yuzu flavor from the tonic brings out the tanginess of the drink neatly. It also has a mildly herbal and floral aroma, which is pleasing. This comes in a heavy glass bottle with the cap wrapped in cellophane. The red grape color is lovely. Overall, it is a pretty decent, non…-alcoholic vermouth alternative. Product of Greece.

On the nose is the smell of grape, vanilla and a hint of raisin from Roots Divino's Apertif Rosso. Neat it comes through with bitter sweetness and a touch of acidity, pleasant as a non-alcoholic vermouth alternative. Interestingly over ice a tartness pops out subduing some of the sweetness, almost making it seem like a drier variety. There's still a bit of vanilla that comes through and a general herbal character along with the expected bitterness. Pretty nice overall. I've used this well in ma…ny places where I would use a sweet vermouth, although sometimes I combine it with Versin Rojo to get it to a flavor profile I like even more with a little more sweetness to cut back the tart (when cold) and add some extra complexity to the flavor profile. Overall, though, I feel this works quite well as a vermouth-style drink.
