I was very hesitant to buy these cups after seeing the pictures of them melting, but then other people reviewed them as doing okay outdoors. I decided to give them a test run since I was having a 100% tableware/food compostable graduation party. I filled a cup with ice water and set it out in direct sunlight from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The high temperature was about 87 degrees and humidity topped out at about 68%. There were no signs of melting so it was a go for the party! They were as sturdy an…d reliable as a solo cup. I'm sure there is a point where they aren't going to hold up, but hopefully this will help people better determine what these cups can tolerate. Yes, they are more money, but I am going to try and do my part until THIS is a choice on every shelf in the stores instead of buying them online! I won't buy another solo cup again! ♻️🌎🌍🌏💙

My friends just brought these cups over for a little party on the go. I normally find compostable cups a little flimsy but these are great! I will definitely be using these from now on.

I love these cups! First and foremost, I love them because they are compostable so there is no guilt-factor. They are super sturdy (unlike most disposable cups) and the design is sleek. This is a huge step up in the disposable cup world.
