Easy to fill, easy to close, fine holes let nothing escape.

I use this strainer to make custom mixes, and it's perfect for the job. The micro-perforations let water flow easily through it; when you pick it up out of the water, it pours quickly out. However, it also keeps all but the finest particles in, so when I add loose chai spice powder to my loose buckwheat, I still only get a tiny bit of very fine sediment. It's well-designed with a chain-hook that fits even quite thick-walled mugs and a screw top that makes it easy to open and close. Rinses clean …easily and comes with its own tiny metal saucer that is great not only for resting it in when you're done brewing but also for sitting it in to dry once you've cleaned it.

These are great little diffusers. I often have issues with some of the finer pieces of tea floating out, but the mesh of these is very fine and it keeps the tea leaves where the tea leaves are supposed to be.

They are just the perfect size, well made of SS, easy to use. And they look good. Perfect for extracting your favorite tea.

Now I have only had one cup of tea with it, but there was very little sediment. Time will tell how it holds up.

I just started buying loose teas and herbs to try to brew a custom blend of sleepy tea, so I was looking for a tea ball but found this and discovered it's far better than a tea ball - it's bigger and holds much more so I can brew a full pot of tea each time. And the stainless mesh is super fine with a perfectly threaded screw top so no loose tea sneaks through. I'm very impressed so I am buying another one for a friend who has been not feeling well - figured this little brewer plus some fragran…t loose tea might lift her spirits.

This infuser is the perfect size for widemouth Hydroflasks or smaller teapots. Despite the thin material, the infuser keeps it shape well, and the cap screws on with fine threading, closing it securely. The perforations in the wall of infuser are very small and will keep pretty much all tea leaf particles inside the infuser. The surfaces are reasonably well polished and there are no sharp edges to cut your fingers. Flow is pretty good due to the number of holes, so you will see the tea infusion… spread out from the infuser. It helps to lift the infuser and drain it out and then put it back into the water every once in a while to help the infusion diffuse through the pot. The many holes in the infuser slow down the force of water washing over the outside, so it sometimes take a little help to get the last leaf or two out of the inside of the basket. As I mentioned at the beginning, this infuser is the perfect size to brew a batch of tea in a wide mouthed Hydroflask, remove the infuser and then carry the flask of tea with you through the morning/day.

I was so happy with this tea infuser that I just ordered another one plus the larger version. I make a lot of mullein tea for my husband to help with his asthma and this is the only infuser that strains out the little mullein hairs that irritate his throat. I drink medicinal loose leaf teas and I wanted one of my own so we can both sit down to healing teas in the evening. The large one I will be using for making sun tea in half gallon jars. Can't wait to get my order! Highly recommend 😊👍
