Just what I was looking for! Merry Christmas me!

I still like it. The shape, the function, pours easily and cleaning.Sadly, about a half an inch of the top broke off (cleanly, as seen in the picture) about a week after we got it, as I was picking it up out of the dish drain.

I had a date over at my house one evening and we opened a 2018 Pinot Noir that she (my date) thought needed to breathe before serving and suggested getting a decanter. After some research I decided this was the right one for the types of wines I primarily drink.The next time I put the same wine into the decanter, it will hold an entire 750ml bottle with room to spare, and let it the wine sit for about 45 minutes before serving. Wow! It really smoothed out the flavor wine a noticeable amount.…Definitely a believer now!In terms of washing, I just put a few drops of dish soap into the decanter and rinse it out a few times. I noticed other reviewers saying it broke in the dishwasher and I never put crystal into a dishwasher.
