I’ve had these chilling stones less than 24 hours but am hopelessly in love.The reason I bought them: I’m an obnoxious homemade cold brew coffee snob. And yes, I know these are frequently purchased by whiskey drinkers but a beverage is a beverage is a beverage.Over a number of years (and many tweaks) I’ve gone from not knowing what cold brew was to having perfected what I consider to be the best cup of coffee I’ve ever tasted. I drink it cold year round. The colder, the better.However, in spite… of using lovely pre-chilled, double wall glass coffee mugs, I found that in the summer my cold brew wouldn’t stay cold enough. So I added a little ice which diluted the coffee which defeated the purpose of drinking cold brew.An so in a flash of brilliance, I decided to give these beautiful chilling stones a try. Perfection!The only down side is how much I miss filling ice cube trays, sloshing my way to the freezer, later struggling to liberate them and then thawing my frozen fingers. But I think I can adjust.

It's always a shame to dilute great spirits (booze too). This is the solution to no dilution. (Poet?)

The liquid centers seem to thaw quickly but they stay cold for a while.

Disregard the reviews stating this product is no good. Of course it is not going to do the job ice does, but it’s close without the dilution. You’re not going to break your glass…. Just slide it in with the glass tilted. This is a great product, and as an avid bourbon love and drinker, I highly recommend it!

These are they only things I will buy to keep my bourbon cool.
