OXO SteeL Cocktail Shaker

This has a high quality feel to it, the pieces fit together snugly, no leaks, great shaker.

Easy to take apart. Insulation actually works so my hands don’t freeze.

The insulation makes the coldest martinis ever. Also, being steel it will not break with vigorous shaking as I have had happen before.

Use it everyday. Love it. The people of OXO do amazing work. Thoughtful design is their hallmark.

Double wall means my fingers don’t freeze! Also, I like the jigger built into the cap.

I was given this as a gift 12 years ago. The insulated wall helps keep your hands from freezing, the top is secure but easy to remove, and it's never, ever leaked. Get a good double jigger though, using the top for measuring is OK in a pinch, but it's imprecise and hard to read. Shake drinks until the outside feels cold (it's double walled, but will eventually get cold). After you pour, just rinse all parts with hot water until everything smells like steel again (even wit cream drinks). No soap… needed. I don't use soap, so I don't have to worry about off flavors.

This shaker works as advertised. I just wish it was a bit larger to match the volume of an ordinary shaker. Still, it is a quality product and thus the 5 star rating .

Fantastic shaker! I bought this as a gift for my elderly aunt. Her son tested it out for leaks and found no problems. He said it is of excellent quality and my aunt is super pleased that it is easy for her to use, even for her arthritic hands. It’s nice bonus that there are measurements in the top part of the shaker. OXO always has such great products to offer!!

My husband loves his dirty martini’s so we bought 2 of these one for each of our homes.
