I had a small measuring cup for oils and other liquids when doing maintenance on my car and motorcycle. The small cup while very useful required you to fill over and over again while keeping track of the quantity.With a measuring cup this size you can do a big job much easier while maintaining an accurate measurement.

This measure picture is sturdy and can hold up to 1/2 gallon of liquid while allowing careful measuring. The handle makes holding the full container easy. The graduations are easy to read. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time and with use.

Really liked the bold lettering on the measuring cup. Easy cleanup depends on what your measuring.Water based items you can rinse with clean water and let dry. Conversion chart may be useful for some.Not for me. Rather have the fluid oz. shown on both sides. Handle? Who really needs a handle on a small measuring cup like this? Really? Regular glass measuring cups are not good for precise measurements. This cup is tall and narrow so the divisions are easier to see (marked every 5 ml and every 1/2 oz). Being narrow and tall makes it a little harder to clean, but for me, the trade-off is worth it. Very sturdy (the cats broke my glass measuring cup - probably hoping I would stop diluting their milk). Excellent purchase!

I use this for totally non traditional measurements. I use it for measuring oil for 2 stroke yard tools. The lines are easy to read and gives a clear picture for the proper amount of oil.

Great for measuring smaller pool chemical quantities.
