I have an orchard and have been making a lot of wines and meads. After my first few efforts, I've gotten more experimental, and also faster in my approach. I really appreciate the rugged air locks. I can use and reuse, wash, sanitize, and they have held up really well. I use only the one gallon jugs, and usually buy the 4-packs.

No issue as long as you know how to use.

Been using these for cider making - no issues so far.Yes the airlocks could be better quality but they are getting the job done just fine.Glass carboys are solid.I have had no issue with the bung coming out (for cider fermentation). Just make sure the bung and the necks are dry before inserting...

Should the yellow caps at the end of the airlocks have holes in them? I’m not sure how the CO2 will escape and not cause an explosion?
