Does a great job be sure to use the gloves to keep from cutting your skin. Used to have professional mandolin I could no longer find the blades for it. This one works great can get slices nice and thin.

I really like how cuts but directions were not easy for me to follow and had hard time at first. After I got the hang of it, I was fine. So glad came with gloves as blade is very sharp
