I live this ice maker. I'm not a fan of the soft ice. It melts to fast. This one makes hard clear ice. I make a bunch and freeze it. The only drawback is that it is noisy. But the ice is clear and it makes it fast!

I actually bought this little ice maker for my office and have really enjoyed having ice on hand. I was impressed by how fast this ice maker makes ice. I will say that it was a little loud when the first batch of ice came out. Setting it up is super easy but cleaning it was a little bit of pain. Overall, I am very happy with this machine.

Does it come in 240 volts?

After a week with the ice maker I’d say it performs well. When starting from room temperature it takes a while to get going to its advertised speed of 28 lbs a day, but after a while J think it does that and probable exceeds. Keep in mind it only holds a couple pounds of ice before the bin is full. Quiet enough but not silent. You’ll definitely know it’s running. I wish it had a window so I could see how it’s producing without having to open the lid. Ice comes out in sheets so you’ll need to ge…t a better scoop or ice pick to break it apart. Overall I’d say it’s good, makes nice ice, probably a little overpriced for what it is, but happy with the purchase. Best for situations where you can make ice in advance or for small parties where you only need a couple pounds of ice an hour for drinks.
