Excellent simple syrup, elevates cocktails like daiquiris and French 75. A bit pricey but worth it if you take pride in quality home cocktails. Many people have told me the drinks I've mixed at home with Liber & co gum syrup, orgeat, grenadine etc are superior to bar/restaurant cocktails.

I was skeptical but this really does make the Old Fashioned have a much smoother taste. Delicious!

Level up Old Fashioned cocktails made with this - it gives the rye a spicy-sweet note.

Used to make a Sazerac. Helps create a balanced cocktail. Adds a silky texture. Good stuff

That missing something. Flavor? No, not quite. Texture? Closer. Mouth-feel? Yeah, that's it. That round, almost creamy mouth-feel of a classic root beer or finely crafted cocktail. This is it. The elders of my youth called it gummy syrup and it was the difference between the homemade root beer being sort of thin tasting like French and Italian sodas or thick and round in flavour like old fashioned A&W root beer. But this is not just for kid-friendly beverages. You have not had an old fashioned …until you have had one made with gummy syrup. Truly. The original old fashioned recipe called for guar gum syrup as did many cocktails of the early 20th century. So happy to find someone producing it.

I bought this on a whim, but I think it makes a better cocktail, compared to simple syrup and agave syrup, which I was previously using. Half a teaspoon in an old fashioned is perfect!

A great way to make an Old Fashioned versus the sugar cube. It gives you drink a cramy texture that is wonderful.
