I purchased these to make crushed ice for Bar drinks. They work great. I put my ice cubes inside, fold the top over, grab my mallet and POUND away! Great for crushing ice!

Our family loves crushed ice. After buying two different countertop ice crushers with a manual crank - each of which lasted maybe a month before breaking - we switched to the mallet method. I dont have a fridge with crushed ice, this with a blunt object, i use a meat hammer, and i get a great serving of crushed ice. Makes a difference.
