As long as you read the 'instructions' and don't use them on frozen foods or twist them, they are just the best knives ever that don't need sharpening. Easily cut tomatoes without squishing the skin. I love the assortment of sizes and use each almost every day for lettuces, cabbage, apples, tomatoes, carrots, meats, breads, etc.

A good knife is essential to enjoy cooking. An excellent knife makes the experience joyful. These are always sharp, and hold their edge despite my gorilla family's best efforts. I did invest in a good ceramic blade sharpener, but I have only used it twice in the 2 months I've owned these. I use these knives at least twice a day on vegetables, raw meat and cooked meat. Effortless.
