I got these to replace a (new) Farberware paring knife that won't hold an edge. My favorite is between the red and the yellow one. I will have to sharpen the blue one a bit.

Had the knives for more than a year and use them frequently. Hold an edge real well yet easy to sharpen. Finish has held up well, no chips or peeling after many runs through a dishwasher.

These knives deliver when it comes to sharpness and responsiveness to re-sharpening using a honing steel. I can only compare them to the fruity-colored Cuisinart knives that look similar (but seem to cost even less) - the Cuisinarts are harder to grip firmly, dull quickly and are harder to re-sharpen.My wife bought the Cuisenarts and says she likes them; I will reach instead for the better Wüsthof or Henckels that we have, but my favorite all-purpose knife is one of these Kuhn-Rikons. I'm buyin…g some more now.

These knives are easy to hold and very sharp. I don't put them in the dishwasher.
