This knife is perfect for chicken and fish. I don't know why people take apart a chicken using a 6in fillet knife. Ofcourse you can't cut the bone with this but for everything else like taking out the bones from chicken thighs or filleting average fish this knife is excellent.
Good for price. Sharp. Not as cheap as it could be. Looks good. Handle could be better but for price it's what you get.
I have the utility and the paring knifes. These are fantastic knifes which rival much more expensive ones in ease of use, sharpness, and edge retention. They are a little light and the handles are cheap, but that is the trade off for a knife in the $10 range that you will use everyday without regret.
1st really sharp knife I've ever had
This knife is well made with a tight fitting blade cover and a sharp edge. Its big enough to slice most fruit and small veggies and also small enough for mincing garlic ect. The Inspire series are attractive knives and affordable as well.
This is the best paring knife ever. It stays sharp and cleans up easily. Plus it is sheathed and great looking.
A few runs across the steel and this was an equal match to my Kai Wasabi knives for cut quality. The textured blade had me worried because it looks gimmicky but these knives really punch above their weight and hold an edge way better than they have any right to for this price. The highly polished blades are easy to clean and if you cut through something thick the texture helps keep food from sticking to the blade much like a granton edge. Not quite as effective since it is so high, but it still… helps. These didn't exist when I got my Kai Wasabi set but I wouldn't feel held back in the kitchen if these are all I had. Not quite as maneuverable as the Kai Wasabi because the blade is taller and thicker, but still works very well. Buy these with confidence.
Due to a natural disaster I moved into a small home with little space. This is the only kitchen knife I've owned for a few years. It has served me well.I sharpen it every few months.About the only complimentary knife would be a small paring knife, but I make due fine with this.
Very sharp knife, holds its edge well
Sharp, sturdy, great price
