We are pleased to provide you, our dear Customer, with our latest addition to our collection of accoutrements celebrating the works of Miss Jane Austen, lately of Winchester and author of some small note. These dessous de verres are made from the finest sandstone finish tiles and are backed with a cork covering, so as not to deface your delicate furnishings or damage the composition of your lace table-toppings.

The customer will observe that this is the Premium, Executive, Exclusive, First Class edition of the coaster set, there being six coasters in the set, rather than the standard four, thus allowing us to depict Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, and Mansfield Park in the collection.

The images of the works of Miss Austen depicted herein are representational examples of the new form of literature commonly known as "novels." The coasters are shipped with a lovely matching boite en bois (wooden box) container, stained in an appropriate Regency tone so as to blend effortlessly with your decor.

Please note, dear Customer, the images themselves are permanently printed upon the very surface of the ceramic, and will not suffer any damage whatsoever from applications of liquids. Indeed, the images have bewitched the coasters, body and soul.
