I loved this for 2 years when my refrigerator ice maker broke. Then it quit working. My biggest issues are cleaning is a nightmare, small basket for ice, and when it runs out of water if you don’t catch it you won’t have ice. There isn’t anywhere to put the scoop either. But for the price when I bought it (on sale under $100), it was well worth it!

SO EASY TOO USE AND AFFORDABLE. TURN IT OFF AND FORGET IT AS IT DOES TAKE SOME TIME TO MAKE A BASKET FULL. mY FIRST ONE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER...BUT i USED IT DAILY FOR 6 MONTHS AND JUST COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK ANYMORE.EASIER (AND CHEAPER) TO GET A NEW ONE THAN FIND A TECHNICIAN WHO MAYBE COULD FIX IT. THIS MODEL IS WONDERFUL SO FAR. LOUDEST NOISE IS THE SOUND OF ICE FALLING INTO THE ICEBIN.

Makes great ice

This has become our most commonly used source of ice in the house. More used than the freezer door ice maker and no need to buy bagged ice.

The Igloo ice maker makes ice fast and has been dependable during the first year. After the first year it began stopping occasionally. The upper tray that moves to hold water for the ice maker and then dumps ice into the lower bin, began sticking and required manually reaching in and freeing it up. This happens about once a week now. It is not a big problem, just an annoying inconvenience.

The ice maker is great. I use it all of the time. Thank you.
