For me having an ice pick is another tool in the arsenal. It's great for frozen things and for those times when you need a hole poked in a flower pot or just need something long to use. Highly recommend this one. Very nice.

So, I received this exact pick when I purchased a higher end shaved ice machine. It has become a much used tool in the house. I use it when I put ice in my Yeti, otherwise you get 1 large piece of ice after it all melts together. Everybody in the house discovered this tool, and now I have to hunt it down when I need it.I really never thought I'd find the exact one I was looking for, or the price point I wanted. But, I'm thrilled to order more, especially for the cabin and I can hide mine!

Best feature is the screw on lid. I have it in my utensils drawer and no worry’s about accidentally stabbing myself. It so strong and sturdy that it broke up ice easily. The feel is smooth and comfortable. Best ice pick I’ve ever owned.

If you need a well-made ice pick, or something that acts like an ice pick but is a sturdy, pointy, stainless tool that is pretty cheap, then look no further. This will work for me to a T. BTW, you also get the ice tongs that are shown but not mentioned. Just a damn fine value.
