I am doing directional freezing to produced Clear Ice cubes and these tools are perfect for chipping, tapping, shaping etc. If you’re not into it just buy a cheap ice pick

It amazes me how well these picks work for breaking up ice! I’ve been grabbing other handy utensils (knife, fork) with little luck and the first time I used the hammer-like pick, the ice just seemed to crumble apart!

The product is well made and useful for carving large blocks of ice, creating round whiskey balls, etc. However, the video of the girl wrestling with ice cubes in a bowl was quiet underwhelming.
