This is a great starter kit for brewing mead. All you need is some honey and you're good to go.

Everything in the kit seems to be of good quality. I was surprised because I expected the cheapest stuff you could possibly find to be shoved in a box, and shipped out for the price. The hydrometer is even wrapped in bubble wrap about 10 times to make sure it gets to your house safely. Good job!

Everything worked great and was an excellent value for the money. You will still need to add a few things but this is a great way to get started. This kit has all the basics to get started it’s just lacking yeast nutrients, stabilizer, and a graduated cylinder to take hydrometer readings. You will also want more sanitizer, yeast, and an extra carboy or two to rack but all in all it’s a really good starter kit.

This process has been tremendously fun! The instructions as a bit weighty, but they contain a lot of good tidbits. I would recommend watching a YouTube video and then referring to the booklet for added reference. I haven’t tried my mead yet (cause I want to age it), but all the supplies worked as expected.Things to note: this kit does not come with yeast energizer, yeast nutrient, bottles, or bottle corker. They’re not required for the process, but are mentioned in the instructions.

All is good but the siphon tube don't fit the auto siphon, and the auto siphon don't work.

Purchased this for my brother-in-law as a gift. He simply loved it.

My son and I made our first batch of mead last night. It took three readings of the manual that came with this kit, and Internet searches separately from the company to figure out how to do it. There are components included in the kit with no reference in the instruction manual. All in all, I still don't know what some things are for because the manual was so unclear. I don't know if it's because the person writing the manual did not know what was going to be included in the kit, or because som…ething else. All I know is that this would be a great kit if someone would simply write a better manual. So be prepared to do some research before you make your first batch. I'm still hoping that this one turns out OK. Just started it fermenting last night.
