Bought the smaller 64 oz size for smaller groups. Double wall keeps it cold all evening and no need to refrigerate after filling. I put the growler in the kegerator a day before filling and it stays at temperature for many hours. Nice to buy a drip tray since the valves all drip a bit, but that is my only complaint. CO2 cartridges usually last for 2 fillings. Can’t beat the looks or keeping carbonation. I brew but this would also be great for take out if you have a local craft brew nearby.

I bought one of these kegs a couple of years ago and really enjoy it. I liked it so much that I bought 3 more of the 64 oz versions to be able to share my brew with friends.

I got two of the Growlers from the first year Growlerwerks made them, and been using them for the past 5 years - I drink probably too much beer - refill both weekly. It keeps the beer perfectly carbonated and fresh. I love them so much, I now have four. The newer growlers have several improvements. And they're support staff has always been "Johnny-on-spot" on anything I ask or on any orders. It does take little "learning" on how to not over-carbonate the beer causing a foam filled glass, …but once you have that down, every pour is as perfect as you get in the pub. Best purchase I've ever made!

Wife got this for our copper wedding anniversary. Took it to a World Cup party filled w/ mimosa, and took it to a happy hour filled w/ craft beer. Both times, or was a huge hit and the beverages were great. Brew house owners who filled the growler and their customers loved it too.

Having been a homebrewer has made using this mini-keg a lot easier to understand and utilize. So far so good. Prepping for first use is simple if you follow the directions. The one gallon size took nearly 20 minutes to fill at my local brewpub so relax and have a beer while you wait. Played with the dial a bit and got my beer (Festbier) dialed up to 10 PSI which was the recommended pressure in the instruction booklet. The box was not damaged, everything was well packaged in the Growlerwerks box …as shown in the pictures and setup was easy. I would caution purchasers to be aware that there are silica gel packs in the growler so be sure to remove them immediately and dispose of properly. The growler maintained a desired pressure overnight so no issues with that. Cleaning might trip novices up. Make sure you follow the directions exactly and you should have no issues whatsoever. All in all a great product that I will no doubt enjoy for quite a long time. Cheers!

I put a fresh growler of beer in the back of my fridge and forgot about it for a couple weeks and decided it was probably flat so I just continued to forget about it. After nearly a year, I decided to clean the growler because it was bock season once again at my local brew pub. I started to empty the growler into a glass to check for the tale tale yeast and low and behold there was none! In fact it had a rich creamy head. So I tasted it. Just as good as the day it went in the fridge! Man I lov…e this keg! I'm a home brewer and have multiple other options for portable beer but this is by far the best and it is an amazing conversation piece at any party.
