My wife has been using this for about 6 months now and it works flawlessly as it did on day one.

Getting the ice block centered is the hardest part. Must use the cover or ice will go flying when the blocks shatter from freeze cracks.

Outstanding ice shaver. Looking online this rivals the commercial units with the exception being the body on this is plastic vs. the pro units are all metal. Super strong motor and can make a lot of shaved ice in a hurry. Very happy with the purchase and confident it will last a long long time! We love it and all the neighborhood kids know we are the house to come to in hot days because we will make shaved ice cones. The ice just melts in your mouth vs the old sno cone machines that have hard i…ce chunks. This stuff is light and fluffy and is just like snow.!

Definitely worth the price. Very sturdy and makes great shave ice. The texture is like cotton Candy.
