Set it and forget it! Preparation and use leads to a very relaxed brew day. No more lifting heavy mash tuns. Cold breaks are a snap and transfers brainless. I'm older and a firm believer in doing 'smarter'. The GF Connect checks all the boxes!

It has pretty much everything in one and if you want, you can buy additional equipment for other uses that most other units don’t come with. I’ve only brewed four batches with No issues from the app. But a fun fact, it fails to mention or I missed it that if your heating unit trips and isn’t heating there is a reset button on the bottom. When doin my research I was wondering why they used an open bottom stand or a skid. But only had to use during my first brew. Grainfather is where it’s at. But… if you’re not super ocd and have a wort chiller setup other units will justify. But an all in one and future capabilities, I say go for it.

1st. The Grainfather unit is awesome! I like the features and the easy of use of this product.2nd. I did have a issue with the unit and contact the seller, “Warren” and he and his staff are a delight. They dispatched the part as fast as humanly possible. And kept me informed every step of the way. I had switched to All-Grain years ago and have had a variety of home-made systems, mash tuns, gravity systems.... I made the plunge almost two years ago and the Grainfather offers more precise control over brewing parameters, my efficiency has gone up, the footprint is smaller, the cleanup is easier, and I no longer worry about 3 propane burners firing with heavy water-filled pots 8 feet in the air while my daughters are running around. I also have 2 Grainfather conical fermenters and I love a…ll of them. In addition to awesome design and functionality Grainfather customer service is top notch. My pump conked out and after a few questions and some photos of the pump, Grainfather sent a replacement ASAP, no charge.

this is a nice working unit that had one trouble caused by me and got it worked out but everything is great even customer support from the company.
