Looking for recyclable straws....had used metal one but was afraid of chipping teeth in certain situations.These will do nicely - pretty colors too! Don't know about durability YET...since I just got them

I have Stage 4 ovarian cancer and one of the more unpleasant side effects of chemotherapy can be developing mouth sores. Eating and drinking becomes difficult. Healing can take a month or more. Not even a typical fast food straw is comfortable. But these straws are IDEAL. Easy to clean, I have not noticed any color staining, and no lingering flavor from one beverage to the next use.. I cannot praise them enough. They would make a great gift for anyone you know who's having trouble drinking. Or …for yourself if you're the one having trouble. I am so glad that I ordered these.My only suggestion would be to sell these in bulk, and individually wrapped. I would love to suggest to my oncologist office that they give these out to patients who are struggling, (like me for the second time), to make drinking less painful.

These are so much easier to use with all my cups that have lids. They are more comfortable to drink from. Being flexible I don't have to tilt any cup to be able to drink, just bend the straw a little bit. Glad I purchased them.
