My sister gave it to me as a gift. It is wonderful for saving your counter tops from having a wine ring on them. I use mine for many different bottles, and it fits a decent amount of sizes.The one complaint about the bottles not sitting level... the wood has grooves in it to hold different bottle sizes and keep it relatively stable but it's really not a bother. As for the absorption, if used as a coaster (effectively) it is fine. Of course the wood won't handle major spills... its wood.I will b…e gifting this myself in the future.

Lovely item. Bought as a gift. The recipient loves it.

Gave this as a 21st birthday present and it was admired by all. Well made, traditional and meaningful. Didn't take the personalised option as we had run out of time, but reckon this would make the gift even more special. Will definitely buy this again.

Bought as a gift for 10yr wedding anniversary (being tin). Well made, catches all the bottle drips and the chrome/wood finish looks good.

Looks good and stops any table marks. I've had a similar one that's been permantly on my living room coffee table for years. It will eventually tarnish but a quick rub with proprietary sillver cleaning cloth brings it up a treat.

An excellent xmas present, my daughter loved them.
